KÜS Team75 Bernhard went quickest after eight hours of running at the Total 24 Hours of Spa Test Day on Tuesday, with Laurens Vanthoor the fastest driver on track.
The Belgian driver set a lap time of 2:19.451 in the afternoon session, putting his Porsche 911 GT3 R that he shares with Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen on top.
The Timo Bernhard-led team went 0.086 seconds faster than the Kaspersky Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3, which took second position ahead of the No. 50 Ferrari, also run by AF Corse.
Barwell Motorsport was the fastest team in the morning’s four-hour session, as Miguel Ramos posted the quickest time, a 2:20.358, in the team’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3.
The No. 25 Audi Sport Team Sainteloc was second-best in the morning.
Both the MANN-FILTER-backed HTP Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Blancpain GT Series-leading No. 63 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 suffered problems in the opening hours, taking them out of the running.
Track action at the Belgian circuit gets back underway on Tuesday, July 25, for the Bronze Test ahead of the race on July 29-30.
