Ford v Ferrari Trailer Released

The first theatrical trailer for the upcoming ‘Ford v Ferrari’ motion picture has been released by 20th Century Fox.

Starring Academy Award winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale, the Walt Disney Studios-produced film tells the tale of the iconic rivalry between the two manufacturers in the 1960s and Ford’s push to take on Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Damon plays legendary car designer Carroll Shelby with Bale as Ken Miles, who engineered, developed and raced the Ford GT40 prior to his tragic death in 1966.

Both recently served as Grand Marshals in the Indianapolis 500, in promotion of the Hollywood film, which will be released on Nov. 15

A number of motorsports-related cameos are expected, including Alex Gurney, who will play his late father Dan in the film.
