A pair of Porsche Cup aces will complete GB Autosport’s driver lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, with Kuba Giermaziak and Rory Butcher joining Damien Faulkner, Mike Skeen and team principal Michael Avenatti in the No. 81 Porsche 911 GT America.

Porsche Supercup runner-up Giermaziak joins the team after extensive experience in North America, having previously driven for NGT Motorsport, while Scottish rising star Butcher is set for his Rolex 24 debut.

They join the previously announced trio in the Tully’s Coffee-sponsored car that will contest the four-round Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.

Daytona, meanwhile, will mark the racing return for Avenatti, who has recovered from successful back surgery that forced him out of the car for the second half of the 2014 season.

“As a first-year squad but with a lot of experienced people with us, we learned a lot last year as a group and this year our focus is on converting those lessons into success,” said team manager Cole Scrogham.

“We gained momentum through the season—not just with our pace, but also unlocking more from this Porsche GTD America and the Continental Tires and picking up a little bit each weekend.

“It’s been a very productive off-season and we had the chance to test so we are very much looking forward to getting going at Daytona.

“As we saw last year, you never really know what the 24 is going to throw at you, but I think we’ve got a great line up to take it on.”

The team has yet to officially commit to any additional TUDOR Championship races beyond the Patron Endurance Cup rounds, with additional announcements from GB expected in the coming weeks.
