Veteran IMSA Prototype Lites drivers Joel Janco and Gerry Kraut have been confirmed as part of Duqueine Engineering’s lineup in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Janco has revealed that he will take on the entire six-round championship, which runs as a support series to the European Le Mans Series, in a Ligier JS P3 Nissan, with Kraut as the co-driver for the Monza and Road to Le Mans rounds.

Janco’s driver coach, Jonatan Jorge, will share the car at the Red Bull Ring in July, with open-wheel rising star RC Enerson set to complete the season in the final three rounds of the season.

Enerson made his sports car racing debut in last month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, in PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports’ Ligier JS P217 Gibson.

It marks another confirmed entry in the new-look series, which adopts LMP3 cars for the first time.

The Le Mans Cup season gets underway at Monza on May 13.
