What are the implications to the McLaren GTE rumors with their strong interest in next gen P1? Would it be one or the other or maybe both like Porsche?

With most of the PC teams now having moved up to P2 machinery for next year, what sort of budget increase would they expect to see for a season?

Do you feel that the current safety car procedures in IMSA will 1) Encourage teams to take it relatively easy for the first 23 hours and only run hard in the last hour? 2)Even further proceed to artificially keep cars close together now that Prototypes and GT cars will even conduct restarts in separate groups?

I am greatly worried that the integrity of the endurance aspect of the race is being compromised. The events that happen over the course of the entire 24 hour should be important. Not just the last hour.

I know this is a LONG way off, but here goes. Are IMSA teams willing to move up to LMP1 if there is a rules convergence with the ACO? Currently, you can buy a, relatively, cheap LMP2 car and be competitive for overall wins against DPIs.

Any news from starworks for a racing program? I thought he had purchased a P2 chassis.
