The No. 4 Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Adam Christodoulou leads the Nürburging 24 with eight hours to go, as the race reaches the 100-lap mark.

Christodoulou holds a 1 minute and 15-second advantage over the No. 912 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R, which is now in the hands of Patrick Pilet, following a scary moment for Nick Tandy in the 16th hour.

The Englishman completed a full 360-degree spin in full wet conditions after making slight contact with a TCR car in front of him.

While Tandy continued, the German squad changed the car’s left-side door and made repairs to the nose during its next scheduled stop.

The No. 007 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of Darren Turner is currently third, following a spirited battle with the No. 1 Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3 of Christopher Mies, who passed the Aston prior to his most recent stop.

The Kevlin van der Linde-driven Audi now runs in fourth, ahead of the Nos. 5 and 6 Black Falcon Mercedes.

Th rain has stabilized, although heavier showers, and potentially thunderstorms, remain in the forecast for later this morning.
