Daniele Perfetti set the pace in Friday’s Bronze Test ahead of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Bronze Test was the only session held on the first day of the weekend, with on-track action for the entire field set to get underway on Saturday.

Perfetti posted a lap time of 1:49.826 in the No. 89 AKKA ASP-run Mercedes-AMG GT3, putting him 0.227 seconds ahead of the No. 77 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Hunter Abbott.

The hour-long session was interrupted for separate incidents involving the No. 78 Barwell Lamborghini, No. 3 Team WRT Audi R8 LMS and No. 15 Black Falcon Mercedes.

While Perfetti was the quickest Pro-Am driver in the session reserved for Silver and Bronze-rated competitors, the No. 488 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 topped the Am Cup classification.

A 90-minute Free Practice session, open to all drivers, will start Saturday’s running at 9 a.m. local time.

RESULTS: Bronze Test
