The field is set for this afternoon’s Pirelli Top 10 Shootout, with Toni Vilander leading the way in qualifying for the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

The Finn reeled off a 2:02.219 lap time to put his No. 88 Maranello Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3 atop the time sheets heading into the battle for the Allan Simonsen Pole Trophy.

Vilander’s time edged out the No. 90 MARC Cars Australia BMW M6 GT3 of Chaz Mostert by 0.189 seconds, with Marco Wittman’s No. 60 BMW Team SRM entry third.

Porsche Junior Matt Campbell impressed at the wheel of the No. 12 Competition Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R to end up fourth, and solidly in the shootout, with Timo Glock completing the top-five in the sister SRM entry.

BMWs dominated the session, with three of the turbocharged M6 GT3s in the top-five.

The No. 8 Bentley Continental GT3, No. 911 Walkinshaw Porsche, No. 35 Miedecke Stone Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, No. 59 Tekno Autosports McLaren 650S GT3 and No. 5 GT Motorsport Audi R8 LMS will also be vying for the pole later this afternoon.

None of the Mercedes-AMG GT3s, neither factory Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 or works-supported Audis will advance.

The Top 10 Shootout is set for 3:40 p.m. local time.
