Miller, Gallagher to Rejoin Holton in Crucial McLaren for Sebring

Crucial Motorsports will take on next weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring with three of its four drivers that contested January’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Florida-based team announced on Monday that McLaren factory driver and team manager Paul Holton will again be joined by Jon Miller and Patrick Gallagher in the team’s McLaren 720S GT3 in the GTD class.

The trio teamed with Bronze-rated driver Lance Bergstein in its 24-hour race debut at Daytona, qualifying second in class and leading the race at stages until a race-ending oil leak.

“We have some continuity in our driver lineup moving into Sebring and I expect that to be a big boost to our program,” said Holton.

“Jon, Pat, and I are all expecting big things from each other.

“The chemistry in Daytona was fantastic and our speed showed it. We again continue with support from JOTA Sport but are actively expanding and bolstering our engineering squad.

“We have lots of big plans moving forward and I think the future is bright for Crucial Motorsports.”

As previously announced, the team has committed to a full Michelin Endurance Cup program, with additional races, potentially in GTD Pro, in the works.
