Two of the powerhouse Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America teams have joined forces, with US RaceTronics and Change Racing teaming up for this season’s campaign.

Competing under the O’Gara Motorsport/Change Racing/USRT banner, the operation will field five Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 cars in the single-make series, including the new No. 50 entry for former Lamborghini World Final winners Edoardo Piscopo and Patrick Kujala (pictured above).

The Pro class entry carries sponsorship from Arrow Electronics, marking the company’s foray into sports car racing alongside its efforts with McLaren in both Formula 1 and the NTT IndyCar Series.

Arrow is also sponsoring the team’s No. 33 LB Cup entry driven by defending World Final class winner John Hennessy.

Damon Ockey and Patrick Liddy will team up in the No. 8 Pro-Am entry while Ofir Levy and Jon Hirshberg will pilot the No. 13 Lamborghini in LB Cup and rookie Ricco Shlaimoun is confirmed in the No. 44 entry that will compete for Am class honors.

“I am very excited about this season,” said USRT team principal Shane Seneviratne.

“The new car looks amazing, and the build quality is the best I have seen. I’m excited about strengthening our partnerships with O’Gara Motorsport and Change Racing and looking forward to strong relationships and good racing programs in the future.

“Most of all, I am delighted to have John Hennessy, Ofir Levy, Jon Hirshberg, and Patrick Liddy back for another season with our team and want to welcome back Damon Ockey, Edoardo Piscopo, and Patrick Kujala.

“It is great to put the team back together. I’m also looking forward to having rookie Ricco Shlaimoun joining the team and am expecting great results this season.”

Change Racing brings 18 titles, including four North American Pro class championships and four World Final wins, to the newly combined effort that will be run by USRT.

“I am excited to announce and be a part of this new collaboration between Change Racing and O’Gara Motorsport,” said Change Racing team owner Eddie Littlefield.

“Tom O’Gara and I are thrilled to continue our support of the iconic Lamborghini brand.

“With five dealerships between the two of us, we know how incredible these cars are. I can’t wait to get this new combined effort on track.

“This partnership in racing will be operated by US RaceTronics and I look forward to another championship season.”

Tom O’Gara added: “I’m really excited to be partnering with Eddie Littlefield and bringing our two race teams together.

“But the most exciting part is having Arrow Electronics join Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

“For Arrow Electronics, a world-class technology company that’s involved in racing at all levels including Formula 1 and IndyCar, to join us is a real honor.”
