Porsche factory drivers Mathieu Jaminet, Fred Makowiecki and Matt Campbell will team up as part of a joint entry by SSR Performance and Herberth Motorsport for next month’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
The three drivers, who all form part of Porsche Penske Motorsport’s factory top class-effort in either the FIA World Endurance Championship or IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, will pilot the No. 92 Porsche 911 GT3 R for the Centenary edition of the event.
The entry, announced on Monday, comes as part of a new partnership between DTM regulars SSR and Porsche stalwart squad Herberth, which will see the former make its 24H Spa debut.
The Stefan Schlund-led squad is currently in the midst of its second season running Lamborghini machinery in DTM, fielding a two-car effort for Mirko Bortolotti and Nicki Thiim.
Prior to its switch to the Italian manufacturer, it started out in sports car racing representing Porsche in ADAC GT Masters before joining DTM.
It started out with a guest entry for Michael Ammermueller in 2021 before joining the grid proper in 2022 with a lineup spearheaded by Laurens Vanthoor and Dennis Olsen.
