Nick Yelloly and Jesse Krohn have been named as BMW M Team WRT’s Hypercar reserve drivers at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The two full-season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship drivers appear on the official test day entry list released by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

A BMW spokesperson confirmed to Sportscar365 that the two drivers are set for reserve duties for the French endurance classic and are listed aboard both the No. 15 and No. 20 BMW M Hybrid V8s.

Sheldon van der Linde, Rene Rast and Marco Wittmann all also appear, confirming BMW’s intention for the three drivers to combine the test day with the DTM round at Zandvoort.

The same goes for Whelen Cadillac Racing driver Jack Aitken, Akkodis ASP Team’s Kelvin van der Linde and Lamborghini Iron Lynx regular Mirko Bortolotti, who are all also competing at Zandvoort this weekend.

Notably, Jordan Pepper is also listed aboard both the No. 19 and No. 63 Lamborghini SC63 alongside the Italian marque’s regular driver roster.

Dane Cameron, meanwhile, appears as Porsche Penske Motorsport’s reserve aboard all three works-entered Porsche 963s, while Ritomo Miyata, Jules Gounon and Malthe Jakobsen are due to fulfil similar roles at Toyota, Alpine and Peugeot respectively.

A number of drivers are due to miss the test day as a result of clashing commitments with the NTT IndyCar Series round at Road America this weekend.

Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn will complete this weekend’s program without co-driver Alex Palou, while Tristan Vautier replaces Scott Dixon aboard the No. 3 Cadillac V-Series.R alongside Sebastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande.

The Frenchman, who competed at Le Mans with Vanwall last year, has been named Cadillac’s official reserve driver at the event.

Nielsen Racing, meanwhile, will see its No. 24 Oreca 07 Gibson shared between Fabio Scherer and David Heinemeier Hansson as a result of Kyffin Simpson’s absence while the No. 22 United Autosports Oreca has also been reduced to a two-man entry this weekend.

This is because Nolan Siegel is competing in Indy NXT as part of the IndyCar support bill and is therefore unable to join Oliver Jarvis and Bijoy Garg on test day.
