Van der Steur Racing will step up to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with a Michelin Endurance Cup-only program in 2025.
The Maryland-based squad will field a single Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, with Rory van der Steur and Aston Martin factory driver Valentin Hasse-Clot confirmed as the first two drivers for the effort.
Van der Steur Racing debuted in Michelin Pilot Challenge in 2020, running Hyundai TCR machinery for three years before it moved up to running an Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
In its two seasons in the GS class, Van der Steur raced with a variety of co-drivers, including Austin McCusker, Alexandre Premat and Hasse-Clot.
The confirmation of Van der Steer’s Endurance Cup effort comes just two days after Magnus Racing, another Aston Martin squad, announced that it would pause its GTD effort following next year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.
