Loek Hartog led the way in the first Porsche Carrera Cup North America practice session of the weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, with Kellymoss topping the times in all three classes.

Hartog’s 1:21.692 benchmark lap time aboard his No. 24 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car was enough to edge out fellow Pro class competitor Alex Sedgwick by 0.140 seconds.

Topp Racing Performance’s Ryan Yardley finished the 30-minute session third quickest, just over two-tenths off the pace, with Zachary Vanier putting his No. 9 JDX Porsche fourth fastest. Meanwhile, Michael McCann rounded out the top-five.

Alan Metni was quickest in Pro-Am, finishing the session 11th overall and ahead of Kellymoss stablemate, Efrin Castro.

Meanwhile, Chris Bellomo led in the Masters class in the No. 68 Kellymoss Porsche, with a comfortable margin over John Goetz.

Angel Benitez brought out a brief red flag just before the halfway mark in the session after an impact at Turn 7 damaged the left rear suspension on his No. 5 MOMENTOP FMS Motorsport x RGB Racing Porsche.

Second practice for Porsche Carrera Cup North America is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT.

RESULTS: Practice 1
