Ricardo Feller and Christopher Haase will spearhead Audi’s four-car assault on next month’s FIA GT World Cup on the streets of Macau.

The two Audi Sport factory drivers will be joined by Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS regulars James Yu and Adderly Fong in a quartet of Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs at the famous Guia Circuit on Nov. 14-17.

Feller, whose main programs this year have been in the DTM and Fanatec GT Europe, will be making his Macau debut driving for the FAW Audi Sport Asia Racing Team.

Haase will drive for Phantom Global Racing on his fourth visit to Macau, while Yu – another Macau debutant – and Fong will represent UNO Racing Team.

Haase and Fong were part of the Audi contingent in last year’s FIA GT World Cup, with Haase finishing seventh and Fong forced to withdraw from the main event after his car sustained unrepairable damage in the qualifying race.

“The Macau Grand Prix is always the absolute highlight of the Asian calendar and for this year, together with our customer teams, we have assembled a strong GT Cup line-up that represents the full spectrum of the global Audi Sport driver pool,” said Audi Sport customer racing Asia boss Alexander Blackie.

“With Ricardo Feller and Christopher Haase we have two top professionals from Europe to compete for Audi’s fifth GT Cup title. With James Yu and Adderly Fong, we have two highly talented local drivers, representing Audi Sport Asia on our biggest ‘home’ race.

“With hundreds of thousands of fans lining the famous downtown Guia Circuit every year, the atmosphere is always electric. We cannot wait to get started.”

Audi’s announcement follows hot on the heels of that of fellow German marque Porsche, which is entering five cars for the end-of-year Macau sprint.
