Henry Drury has claimed pole for the season-ending Toyota GR Cup North America race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The PT Autosport with Copeland Motorsports driver stormed to a chart-topping 1:47.750 in Sunday morning’s rain-soaked final qualifying session of the year.

His time, recorded in the closing moments of the 15-minute session, was 0.059 seconds quicker than Lucas Weisenberg.

It marked Drury’s first career pole in the single-make series, having made his return to GR Cup action this weekend filling for regular driver Max Stallone.

Will Robusto qualified third in the No. 2 RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate Toyota GR86 Cup car, with Ethan Goulart and champion-elect Westin Workman completing the top-five.

The season-ending race is set for 11:05 a.m. EST with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on GRCup.com.

RESULTS: Qualifying 2
