Toyota’s GR Cup North America series will again kick off in Texas, as part of the Grand Prix of Arlington NTT IndyCar Series weekend, in a seven-event season next year.
The SRO America-run single-make series unveiled its 2027 calendar on Friday, following the release of next year’s provisional calendars for GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America and GT America powered by AWS at SRO Motorsports Group’s annual press conference at Spa.
GR Cup will again consist of 14 total races, with the campaign starting on March 19-21 at Arlington, which clashes with the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
The remainder of the schedule will again be on SRO America weekends, including return trips to Sonoma Raceway, Circuit of The Americas, a new visit to Watkins Glen International, with Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Road America and Indianapolis Motor Speedway closing out the season.
The only standalone SRO America event GR Cup will not visit will be Barber Motorsports Park.
“The GR Cup field is as competitive as it’s ever been, and we want to build on that for 2027,” said TRD USA customer racing manager Mike Noerm.
“We’re excited to be back at the Grand Prix of Arlington, and for the first time ever, we’re taking the championship to Watkins Glen International. Our teams and drivers raise the bar every year, and 2027 won’t be any different.”
