The GT America powered by AWS grid is set to expand this year with notable new and returning Porsche and Ferrari entrants, along with other key contenders to the single FIA Bronze-rated driver sprint race series.

SRO America confirmed significant additions with the release of a provisional entry list on Friday, which will see the likes of powerhouse Ferrari squads AF Corse, R. Ferri Motorsport and Scuderia Corsa join the field full-time, alongside veteran Porsche including Wright Motorsports, Kellymoss and GMG Racing.

In all, nearly 25 entries are expected for this month’s pair of season opening races at Sonoma Raceway, marking a five-fold increase from the series’ low-point at Road America last year.

The top SRO3 class for GT3-spec machinery is set to see at least 17 cars, headlined by the full-season return of former series champion Memo Gidley in SKI Autosports’ Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, which made a mid-season start last year.

With 2025 champion Justin Rothberg, who ran as a derogated Bronze* driver last year, not returning as a result of SRO America’s tightened up sporting regulations, Gidley’s main competition could come in the form of Ross Chouest, who will be back in his Chouest Povoldeo Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R following a strong end to the previous season.

Mirco Schultis’ fan-favorite Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R is also set to return for what will be the car’s ‘farewell tour’ in its final year of homologation.

While Scott Dollahite is set to focus his driving duties in GTA with his Dollahite Racing Ford Mustang GT3, no fewer than seven Porsche 911 GT3 Rs and five Ferrari 296 GT3s are due to be on the grid.

This includes the return of both Scuderia Corsa and R. Ferri to the SRO America paddock, each fielding a single Prancing Horse with to-be-announced drivers, while Rodin Younessi has already been confirmed in the No. 16 AF Corse Ferrari for a full season effort.

Tony Davis is also set for a season-long campaign after taking part in the final found rounds of the season last year his HP-TECH Motorsport Ferrari, while Ferraro Motorsports is also entered, alongside an expected one-off effort by One11 Competition for Jason McCarthy at the Circuit of The Americas round.

Porsche’s contingent is led by the returning GMG Racing entry of Kyle Washington, who contended for the SRO3 title last year, while RS1 will step up for an expected full-time effort along with Rukus Racing’s Scott Blind, who graduates into GT3 competition following a banner year of Porsche one-make racing in 2025.

Dave Musial Sr. is already confirmed in a Wright Porsche, while the Ohio-based team aiming to run a second entry at selected races later in the season, while there are provisionally three Kellymoss 911 GT3 Rs also on the entry list with to-be-announced drivers.

Random Vandals Racing will be represented on the grid, but with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for ex-GMG Racing driver CJ Moses, who makes the switch to GT3 racing following a number of seasons running his Audi R8 LMS GT2 car.

At least one GT2 car, however, will still be in action, with Dan Knox confirmed in his Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT2.

So far, Craig Lumdsen (Flying Lizard Motorsports BMW M4 GT4 EVO) and Josef Petkes (RCX Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport) are the only confirmed entries in GT4.

The new-for-2026 Cup class, for eligible single-make series machinery, will see a partial season effort from Gotham Motorsports with Ferrari 488 Challenge EVOs for Yousuf Nabi and Radu Muntean, while RacingSupport will field a Ginetta GTP8 for David Lecko.

Additional Ginettas, which were initially announced in having its own class within the series, are expected to come later in the season.
