McLaren has revealed the first images of its long-tail version of its mid-engined supercar, which will debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
The McLaren 675LT, featuring the same base 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 seen in the 650s, is lighter and faster than the base model, with the LT producing 666 horsepower but with a dry weight of just 1230 kg.
The engine has been tuned for more torque, while the cylinder heads and camshaft have also seen an evolution.
It’s resulted in a noticeable increase in performance, with the track-focused 675LT able to hit 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 205 mph.
The car will only be available in a coupe version.
No word yet on when it will go on sale, although McLaren has confirmed it will be available in five colors, including four new tones never previously offered by the British manufacturer.
