Barwell Motorsport has confirmed the lineup of the second Lamborghini Huracán GT3 it will enter in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.
Former British GT Championship-winning drivers Leo Machitski and Marco Attard will team with newly signed Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli in the Pro-Am Cup.
It will mark Attard’s first full season program in the Blancpain GT Series, while Machitski already raced one of Barwell’s BMW Z4 GT3s in the series last year, claiming fourth place in Pro-Am in the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
Tom Kimber-Smith will join the trio at Spa as the fourth driver.
“It’s great to have two of our longest-standing and most successful GT customers, Leo and Marco (Attard), united together in one of our fantastic Huracan GT3s,” said Barwell Motorsport team principal Mark Lemmer.
“We have to thank Lamborghini Squadra Corse for providing us with Mapelli, one of the rising stars of the world GT scene. It’s also great to have TK-S completing our talented Spa line-up.”
As previously confirmed, the team’s second Lamborghini Huracán GT3 will also compete in the Pro-Am Cup, with Mark Poole, Richard Abra and Joe Osborne sharing the driving duties.
