Jordan King will join Team LNT for next month’s 4 Hours of Shanghai, replacing Luca Ghiotto in the team’s lineup for the third round of the 2019-20 FIA World Endurance Championship season.

The Formula 2 and IndyCar driver, who took part in an end-of-year season run with Jackie Chan DC Racing last season, will complete the lineup in the No. 5 Ginetta G60-LT P1 alongside Egor Orudzhev and Ben Hanley.

The No. 6 Ginetta will feature an unchanged lineup in Charlie Robertson, Mike Simpson and Guy Smith, despite plans for Chris Dyson to make his race debut.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jordan to the team,” said Team LNT team principal and Ginetta Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson.

“His record clearly shows he has speed, and the Ginetta has plenty of that to offer to him. A very quick British driver in a very quick British car on a circuit that should again see the real pace of LMP1 on display.

“We’ll be looking to all of our drivers to take the fight to the opposition in China.”

King added: “I’ve been watching their efforts closely in the early part of the season and it is very clear that the re is massive potential here.

“I hope I can help them to unlock even more of that in Shanghai.”
