HTP To Field Three Mercedes at Slovakia Ring

HTP Motorsport is expanding to three cars for the next round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at the Slovakia Ring.

Luca Stolz and Lucas Wolf will share the wheel of the team’s third Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, which will be entered in the Silver Cup, eligible for a pair of young silver drivers under 25 years of age.

Despite damaging three chassis last month, including two shunts at Spa-Francorchamps, the team confirmed to Sportscar365 it will be at the Slovakia Ring in full force. Last weekend, two HTP Mercedes competed in the ADAC GT Masters round in Slovakia.

Championship leaders Maximilian Götz and Maximilian Buhk will be racing the No. 84 Mercedes again, while Sergei Afanasiev and Stef Dusseldorp hope to break their run of bad luck in Slovakia.
