Ellahi First Confirmed Driver in 2027 CSM Aston Martin Lineup

Ismaeel Ellahi has become the first confirmed driver for Czabok-Simpson Motorsport’s 2027 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge effort, wth the 19-year-old set for a full season effort in one of the team’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evos.

Ellahi made his debut in VP SportsCar Challenge with the Indianapolis-based team this year before stepping into CSM’s Pilot Challenge GS class operation beginning with last month’s round at Virginia International Raceway, alongside Ayrton Houk.

The American driver of Pakistani heritage, who started off in sim racing, gained early experience in the GT4 European Series and Porsche Sprint Challenge Germany.

Ellahi scored his first career IMSA victory in the VP Racing Challenge race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in July.

His co-driver for the 2027 Pilot Challenge season will be announced in the coming weeks.

CSM, which made the mid-season switch to Aston Martin machinery after having run Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports since the team’s launch, is expected to field at least two Vantage GT4 Evos in the series next year.
