Filsinger Takes Road Atlanta Pole

Alex Filsinger has scored pole for this afternoon’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season-ending Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Filsinger, in the No. 69 Motorsports In Action McLaren Artura GT4, reeled off a best lap of 1:26.261 to edge out the No. 28 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Eric Filgueiras by 0.208 seconds.

Kenny Murillo put the No. 72 Murillo Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4 third on the grid, ahead of Adam Adelson’s No. 47 Nolasport Porsche and the No. 57 Winward Mercedes-AMG of Bryce Ward, who completed the top-five.

TCR saw the No. 17 Unitronic/JDC-Miller Motorsports Audi RS 3 LMS TCR of Chris Miller take class pole, thanks to a 1:28.103 lap time.

Miller was one-tenth quicker than Mason Filippi in the No. 98 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR, with Bryan Ortiz set to line up third in class.

The Fox Factory 120 gets underway at 12:25 p.m. EDT with live coverage on Peacock.
