Andy Lally and Cameron Lawrence will lead Rebel Rock Racing’s lineup for the 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season-opening BMW Performance 200.

The Jim Jonsin-led team has also confirmed two Porsche Caymans to run in the ST class, besides Lally and Lawrence’s GS class effort.

The pairing will share the No. 08 Porsche 997 in the GS class, as both move over from other teams they raced for in 2014.

Lally co-drove with Stevenson Motorsports’ Camaro Z/28.R a year ago. Lally has at least a partial schedule confirmed, and is working towards finalizing a full season.

“I’m thrilled to be racing with Rebel Rock,” Lally said. “I’ve been friends with Jim Jonsin for a while now, and we’ve been talking since the end of last season. I’m looking forward to working with a team that I know is capable of winning.

“On top of being reunited with my old friend Louis Malone, I am also very much looking forward to working with Cameron as he has shown big speed in everything that he is in. I can’t wait for Daytona!”

Lawrence moves up to GS for a one-off outing, for now, after sharing one of the Irish Mike’s Racing Hyundai Genesis coupes in ST. He is also a two-time defending Trans-Am TA2 class champion.

“I’m really happy that things worked out and that I’ll be running with Andy Lally,” Lawrence said. “I think Jim and his crew will give us a strong car and will give us a chance to run up front and fight for the win.”

The pair tested the Porsche at this past weekend’s Roar Before the Rolex 24 test. Both will pull double duty during the week, driving in GT Daytona class entries for Magnus Racing and Riley Motorsports, respectively.

Meanwhile Rebel Rock’s Daytona ST lineup will see three of the four drivers that tested for them in the pair of Porsche Caymans.

Ramin Abdolvahabi and Mark Pombo are confirmed in the No. 87 Cayman, joining the previously announced Jonsin and Erik Valdez in the No. 88. Pombo and brother Mat will share Mark’s seat throughout the year.
