Jesse Lazare laid down the quickest time of the day for IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competitors at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in preparation for tomorrow’s four-hour enduro.

Lazare, in the No. 69 Motorsports In Action McLaren Artura GT4, led the 75-minute day-into-night session, in preparation for the closing stages of Saturday’s race.

His time of 1:29.484 was 0.161 seconds quicker than the No. 28 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Stevan McAleer, who also paced the day’s opening session.

The No. 19 Van der Steur Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 completed the top-three overall and in the GS class.

TCR was led by the No. 15 Rockwell Autosport Development Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, thanks to a late flyer by Denis Dupont.

The No. 91 Van der Steur Hyundai Elantra N TCR was second, having placed ahead of two of the factory Bryan Herta Autosport entries in third and fourth in the evening session.

Qualifying gets underway Saturday at 11 a.m. EDT prior to the 4:30 p.m. race start, which will be broadcast live on Peacock.
