Newly formed Montreal-based team MMG, comprised of owners Nick Wittmer, Benjamin Distaulo, Eric Cote and Sabrina D’Amico, have signaled plans to compete in next year’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge with two new Honda Civic Type R TCR entries.

The Canadian organization plans to enter IMSA competition following “several years of international competition” according to a team statement.

“Each team member is thrilled to undertake this new project,” said team manager and co-owner Distaulo. “Preparation has already begun for what is coming our way in just a short amount of time. The years and the level of experience of each individual crew member promises two competitive MMG Honda’s for 2024.”

Both Type-FL5 Hondas are currently in production and will be delivered to MMG before the end of this year. Full driver lineups will be announced at a later date.
