The new Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport announcements keep on coming to the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, with news out today that Muehlner Motorsports America will race at least one of the new cars in 2016.

The team will test at the Roar Before the Rolex 24 and will announce its driver lineup at a later date.

It will mark a return to IMSA for Muehlner, which ran only the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship with two Porsche 911 GT Americas but no additional races.

A long-term partnership with H&R Special Springs continues, as well, said Bernhard Muehlner, Managing Director and lead engineer at Muehlner Motorsports America and Mühlner Motorsport in Europe.

Muehlner joins Bodymotion Racing, CJ Wilson Racing and Team TGM as the five announced Cayman GT4 Clubsport entries into the 2016 Continental Tire Challenge season.
