Sunoco 200 Challenge winner Paddy McClughan will run in the No. 16 Racers Edge Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302R at the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season opener, the BMW Performance 200, at Daytona International Speedway.

McClughan and Jonny Adam are the Sunoco Challenge winners for the one-off appearance at Daytona. Adam, the Sunoco Whelen Challenge winner, will run in the No. 31 Whelen Engineering/Team Fox Corvette DP in the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Racers Edge Mustang will be adorned in Sunoco colors, following Mitchum Motorsports not running the Sunoco Chevrolet Camaro GS.R as it has in recent years.

McClughan joins Racers Edge team veteran Chris Beaufait in the Racers Edge Mustang for the Continental Tire Challenge race.

The team will test at the Roar Before the Rolex 24.

Racers Edge will roll out the previous generation Mustang for the season opener, before the Jon Mirachi-led team heads into its new voyage in Pirelli World Challenge with the SIN R1 GT4 in the GTS class.
