Both the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge races for the Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway feature fairly standard entry lists, with no major surprises or changes.

The 18-car GT-only field for the TUDOR Championship will be split between the standard eight GT Le Mans and 10 GT Daytona entries. As in the last two races, Wright Motorsports’ Porsche 911 GT America is entered but not expected to race.

The only noticeable difference year-on-year will be the return of Jan Magnussen, who was injured this race last year and was replaced last minute in the No. 3 Corvette C7.R by Jordan Taylor.

In the Continental Tire Challenge, the 37-car field is split between 12 GS and 25 ST class cars.

GS sees Automatic Racing return to two cars while Mantella Autosport remains with just one car.

A handful of ST cars either come on or drop off after Road America, and HART switches its lineup around with Kevin Boehm moving back to the team’s No. 93 Honda Civic Si while Ryan Eversley is on World Challenge duty at Miller Motorsports Park.

The race will be Round 8 for both series, with the GTLM/GTD classes getting on par with the P and PC classes in the TUDOR Championship.
