***This race marks the second for the new Ford Shelby GT350R-Cs with a 50-pound weight addition, which was added before Lime Rock Park. Other pre-Lime Rock Balance of Performance adjustments included a 200 rpm increase for the Honda Civic Si and 70 mbar boost addition to the MINI JCW.

***After his heavy accident on Friday, Tim Probert was awake and alert and undergoing further evaluation at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with fractured ribs on his left side. The No. 65 Murillo Racing BMW 328i Probert was scheduled to drive with Brent Mosing has been withdrawn.

***Luis Rodriguez Jr. had an accident in first practice in the No. 17 Rennsport One Porsche Cayman, which damaged the right rear quarter panel of the car. The team got the No. 17 car repaired ahead of today’s race, with Spencer Pumpelly completing an installation lap in wet conditions on Friday. They’ll start sixth in ST.

***Burton Racing’s No. 21 BMW 128i has a late driver swap with Anthony Lazzaro pinch-hitting alongside series debutante and local driver Josh Bilicki of Richfield (pictured above). The team originally had Joe Koenig listed, but with Koenig unavailable due to injury and Terry Borcheller due to score points in the team’s primary No. 23 car, Lazzaro was the pick alongside.

***The second Trim-Tex car in the field, the No. 46 Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3, has been rebuilt following its first lap accident at Lime Rock Park. Additionally, the team adds its second car, the No. 48 BMW M3 of Tonis Kasemets and Mark Boden, for the first time since Daytona in January.

***LAP Motorsports is another late add to the field, with its second MINI JCW, the No. 52 car, making its first start since Watkins Glen after repairs to the front end. Ramin Abdolvahabi, who’s most recently raced with Rebel Rock Racing and Irish Mike’s Racing, steps in alongside Dan Clarke, who scored his only Champ Car podium at Road America in 2007. It brings the field to 43 entries.

***Ahead of next week’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits golf course, PGA Tour star Rickie Fowler and Cobra Gold will back the No. 18 The Pride Factory Porsche Cayman for Rennsport One, driven this week by Remo Ruscitti and series debutante Lars Viljoen.

***Following a rare ball joint failure that struck them late in last year’s race, Rum Bum Racing returns to Jennifer Bacardi’s home race seeking its fourth podium in five years. Matt Plumb told Sportscar365 on Friday that the team’s No. 13 Porsche 911 “couldn’t feel any better,” and this is coming after the team has had past wins at the track.

***Rebel Rock Racing has swapped the lineups for its two Porsche Caymans, with Nate Norenberg and Mat Pombo now in the No. 87 Porsche and Mexican co-drivers Ruben Pardo and Carlos Contreras moved from the No. 87 car to the No. 88 car.

***Louis-Philippe Montour (No. 57 Ford Mustang Boss 302R) and Brian Faessler (No. 78 Ford Mustang Boss 302R) have been added as the TBA drivers to the pair of Racers Edge Motorsports entries.

***While the qualifying session was changed to a practice session, no cars opted to take part.
