Rum Bum Racing topped the timesheets in practice for Round 7 of the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season at Lime Rock Park.

Matt Plumb posted a best lap time of 57.111 seconds in the No. 13 Porsche 911 in the opening 15-minute session Friday morning. Plumb, who won this race last year with Nick Longhi, shares the GS class car with Hugh Plumb this go-around.

The Plumbs also led session three at 57.656 seconds, while the Stevenson Motorsports pair of Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell were fastest in the second session at 57.572 seconds.

The CRG-I Do Borrow team led in ST, with Owen Trinkler posting a best time of 59.020 seconds in the No. 44 Honda Civic Si he shares with Sarah Cattaneo.

Other session leaders were the No. 56 Murillo Racing Porsche Cayman in session two (59.434 seconds) and the No. 17 Rennsport One Porsche Cayman in session three (59.347 seconds).

There were no major incidents; the No. 34 Alara Racing Mazda MX-5 had an incident with Christian Szymczak driving in the second practice, but the car was repaired and returned ahead of session three.

Qualifying occurs from 4:10 to 4:55 p.m. ET and local time.
