Stacy Claims Road America Pole

Nate Stacy has claimed pole for this afternoon’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge round at Road America

The newly named Aston Martin Racing Academy driver stormed to a 2:16.096 in his No. 60 KohR Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4 that he’ll share with Kyle Marcelli.

Stacy’s time was 1.003 seconds quicker than defending series champion Tyler McQuarrie in the No. 39 CarBahn Motorsports Audi R8 LMS GT4, who qualified second.

Sheena Monk will start third in the No. 3 Motorsports In Action McLaren 570S GT4, followed by Russell Ward in the No. 4 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4 and Scott Maxwell’s Multimatic Motorsports-entered Ford Mustang GT4.

Robby Foley made it six different manufacturers in the top-six in GS in his Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT4.

Max Faulkner claimed TCR class pole honors, the first of the season for FASTMD Racing with Speed Syndicate and Audi.

Faulkner took his No. 23 Audi RS 3 LMS TCR to a quick time of 2:21.358 on his last flying lap.

He edged out Michael Johnson in the No. 54 JDC-Miller Motorsports Audi TCR of Michael Johnson by just 0.002 seconds.

Chris Miller qualified third in the No. 37 LA Honda World Honda Civic Type-R TCR.

The Road America 120 gets underway at 3:45 p.m. CT, with live coverage on Trackpass on NBC Sports Gold and IMSA Radio.
