Beche, Sales Named New Full Season PR1/Mathiasen Drivers

Mathias Beche and Rodrigo Sales have joined PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports’ lineup for its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LMP2 title defense.

Beche and Sales are set to take part in the full seven-round season in the team’s No. 52 Oreca 07 Gibson, with 2023 Indianapolis 500 rookie of the year Benjamin Pedersen in the car for the Michelin Endurance Cup races and Ben Keating completing the lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Bobby Oergel-led team joined forces this year with Inter Europol Competition to win the LMP2 championship, with the two organizations running independent cars in 2025.

Keating, meanwhile, returns to PR1/Mathiasen after a season with United Autosports, but is expected to focus his full-time attention on the FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 class next year with TF Sport.

The Bronze-rated Texan is only confirmed with PR1/Mathiasen for Daytona only.
