Jonathan Bomarito is out front of the Motul Petit Le Mans with one hour complete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale.

Bomarito enjoys a seven-second lead over the No. 7 Team Penske Acura ARX-05 of Ricky Taylor, who got around the No. 77 Team Joest Mazda RT24-P of Oliver Jarvis for position midway through the opening hour.

Pole-sitter Pipo Derani, who led the opening laps, suffered a left-rear tire puncture on Lap 19, which has dropped the No. 22 Tequila Patron ESM Nissan Onroak DPi off the lead lap.

The ESM Nissan DPi, now in the hands of Timo Bernhard, runs in 13th, ahead of the championship-contending CORE autosport Oreca 07 Gibson, which was started by team owner Jon Bennett.

The No. 5 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R of Filipe Albuquerque is now in third, having also passed Jarvis.

An early stop for the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR has put Laurens Vanthoor out front in GT Le Mans, while the class championship-leading No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Madison Snow paces GT Daytona.
