Tatiana Calderon will make her return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2024 as she joins Gradient Racing for the Michelin Endurance Cup.

Colombian driver Calderon will partner full-time pair Katherine Legge and Sheena Monk aboard Gradient’s Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 in the GTD class for the five-round series, starting with next month’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Stevan McAleer completes the lineup in the No. 66 Acura for the season-opener.

Calderon will be making her first WeatherTech Championship appearance outing since a one-off outing for the short-lived GEAR Racing Lamborghini effort at Daytona in 2020, which was also the last time she raced a GT3 car.

“I’m super thankful to the whole Gradient Racing team for this opportunity,” said Calderon. “I’m very excited to team up with Sheena, Katherine and Stevan for the Rolex 24 at Daytona!

“I have competed at Daytona once and I loved the atmosphere and competitive spirit of this incredible race. The team did a great job last year and I hope we can build on it to hopefully be on the podium.

“I’m really looking forward to sharing the car with them and getting familiarized with everyone as soon as possible. I can’t wait to get started!”

Calderon has mostly driven LMP2 machinery since moving to endurance racing in 2020, spending two seasons with the Signatech-run Richard Mille Racing team in the European Le Mans Series and then the FIA World Endurance Championship.

After a brief detour to IndyCar in 2022, Calderon returned to prototypes this year as she tackled a second season in the ELMS with Team Virage, earning a best finish of fifth in the LMP2 class alongside teammates Ian Rodriguez and Alexander Mattschull.
