Michael Shank is one of the nicest, most personable people I’ve met in motorsports, and he clearly loves what he’s doing. I’m very glad to see him have success in his latest venture. I’d love to see MSR get a works DPi program going sometime soon!

I have a feeling he will be in Indycar next year, and next years 2 car Honda Factory Prototype team will be a known team from outside IMSA. (Just a hunch, I have no inside info)

What are your thoughts on the future of the global LMP2 category? The Riley has shown to be a dud and unless Ligier and Dallara really hit it out of the park with their one allowed update it looks like the ORECA will be the car to have, especially at Le Mans, through 2020. At this point I just don’t see why customers would want to buy anything else.

If the expected growth of privateer LMP1 and GTE-Pro comes to fruition and pushes GTE-Am out of the WEC, what do you think happens to the category for Le Mans?

Out of speculation, who could be fielding the second Oreca Gibson in IMSA later this season?
