Fittipaldi Tops Sebring Warmup

Action Express Racing picked up where it left off from qualifying, topping the time charts in morning warmup for today’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. 

The No. 5 Corvette DP of Christian Fittipaldi was quickest of the 25-minute session, reeling off a best lap of 1:54.831.

It was 0.355 seconds quicker than the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP of Max Angelelli in second.

Lucas Luhr led the way early but settled for third quickest of the session in his No. 6 Muscle Milk Pikett Racing Oreca 03 Nissan.

The Prototype Challenge class was led by the No. 25 8Star Motorsports Oreca FLM09 of Sean Rayhall while Jonathan Bomarito paced GTLM aboard his No. 93 SRT Motorsports Viper GTS-R.

GTD saw the No. 30 MOMO NGT Motorsport Porsche 911 GT America of Kuba Giermaziak lead the way, ahead of Maurizio Medianai’s No. 555 AIM Autosport Ferrari 458 Italia GT3.

Fifty-seven of the 63 starters turned laps, with the only red flag coming out for the No. 49 Spirit of Race Ferrari, which stopped on track.

The race takes the green flag at 10:15 a.m. ET with live coverage on FOX Sports 1 and IMSA.com.
