Tommy Milner put Corvette Racing atop the time charts in the third and final practice session prior to qualifying for Sunday’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.

Milner reeled off a fast lap of 1:41.205 to go quickest in the 60-minute session, edging out the No. 25 Team RLL BMW M8 GTE of Connor De Phillippi by 0.243 seconds.

The pair of Porsche 911 RSRs were third and fourth quickest, while the No. 67 Ford GT of Ryan Briscoe completed the top-five.

There was drama for the No. 66 Ford of Dirk Mueller, who had an off-course excursion and made slight contact with the barriers.

It resulted in the session’s only red flag.

Marcelli Quickest in GTD

Kyle Marcelli led the way in GT Daytona, thanks to a 1:43.905 lap time in the No. 14 3GT Racing Lexus RC F GT3.

The Canadian ended the session 0.237 seconds quicker than the Jeroen Bleekemolen-driven No. 33 Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Paul Miller Racing’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 returned to action following an engine change to post the third quickest time in class.

Qualifying gets underway at 12:25 p.m. EDT.
