***Updated FIA global driver ratings are expected to be released later this week. There are rumors of a few Silvers being upgraded to Gold in the revised list. Drivers had until November 22 to request changes.

***Look for possible minor changes in the TUDOR Championship next year, including revised starting driver rules and full-course yellow procedures. IMSA is seeking feedback from teams on potential adjustments to the sporting regulations.

***Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia will make his first start in the FIA Formula E Championship at Punta Del Este, Uruguay on December 13. ***Several 2014 IMSA drivers and/or team owners will be partaking in the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill this weekend. Mike Skeen and Ryan Eversley will share a Superlite SLC; Anthony Lazzaro, Burt Frisselle and Dion von Moltke will be in a DR Eagle, with Kyle Marcelli, Brian Frisselle and Randy Pobst in a Norma BMW; Duncan Ende will be in another Norma BMW; Sean Rayhall and Colin Braun will be in separate Radical SR3s; Kyle Gimple and Derek DeBoer in a BMW GTR, Bryan Heitkotter and Vesko Kozarov will share a Nissan 370Z and C.J. There are 12 North American entries from seven teams; a full entry list can be found here.

***Among the American entries racing in Abu Dhabi is Scott Tucker in the No. 255 Boardwalk Ferrari entry. Jeff Segal, who’s had a jet-setting month of November with his FIA World Endurance Championship commitments, makes the trip there as well to serve as Tucker’s driver coach. Also noteworthy is the presence of Robert Herjavec, a Canadian who is part of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” in a Ferrari of Ontario entry.

***Turner Motorsport is selling its venerable and 2011 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS championship-winning BMW M3. More information is linked here from Turner’s website. The GT Daytona class champions have not announced either a TUDOR Championship or CTSC program for 2015, although the team has announced a World Challenge program.

***The new RG Racing team, which will run a Daytona Prototype in selected TUDOR Championship races next year, will be car No. 66. The team announced Tuesday it was assigned that number by IMSA.
