***While the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship is not back in action until Long Beach, both of the IMSA-sanctioned Cooper Tires Prototype Lites and Porsche GT3 Cup USA by Yokohama will be at NOLA Motorsports Park this weekend. The new 2.75-mile permanent road course will also play host to the IndyCar Series.

***The entry list for next weekend’s Tequila Patron Sports Car Showcase at Long Beach is expected to be released this week. With the Prototype and GT Le Mans classes only in action, a total of 17 cars are expected for the third round of the championship.

***The DeltaWing, which is set to make its street course debut next week at Long Beach, is set to test today and tomorrow in Savannah, Ga. with some updated components. Drivers Memo Rojas and Katherine Legge were in the team’s Braselton, Ga. ship Tuesday for new seat fits.

***Compass360 Racing is also testing this week, with the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge team taking its Audi S3 to Virginia International Raceway. The series is off until Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in May.

***Mazda has launched a new hashtag for its Mazda sports car development program, the Mazda Road to 24. The hashtag is #MRT24.

***Voting for the Visual Studio “Team to Win” award from Sebring is now open. Action Express Racing, Scuderia Corsa, Team Seattle/AJR and Performance Tech Motorsports are the nominees. Rolex 24 Prototype Challenge class winners PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports took home the Daytona award, which represents the teamwork involved in the sport.

***VP Racing Fuels and Road Atlanta have announced a multi-year partnership where VP will serve as the track’s official fuel.
