***TUDOR Championship teams return to action next weekend for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. A total of 36 cars are entered for the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup. The full entry list can be found Here.

***A hanful of recent winners from the 24 Hours of Le Mans are expected to compete at Watkins Glen, including Earl Bamber and Nick Tandy (Porsche North America), Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner (Corvette Racing) and Jordan Taylor (Wayne Taylor Racing). Corvette Racing will also be present with its two Corvette C7.Rs, including the one that took Taylor, Gavin and Milner to GTE-Pro class victory.

***Patrick Dempsey will not take part in next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen as originally planned, with the actor/racer telling Sportscar365 that he will be spending time with his family and focus on the remainder of the FIA WEC season. However, he said he’s working to put a program together for Petit Le Mans.

***GB Autosport will also be skipping Watkins Glen, although the Tully’s Coffee Rocket is expected to contest two remaining TUDOR Championship rounds this season, including the 10-hour enduro at Road Atlanta in October.

***Hazlitt’s Cider Tree will join the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP of Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi as an associate sponsor for Watkins Glen. Cider Tree is a premium hard cider produced by Hazlitt Orchard and Cider Crafters, a division of Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, in Naples, N.Y.
