Jarvis, MSR Quickest in Watkins Glen Warmup

Oliver Jarvis sat atop the timesheets in the 20-minute warmup session ahead of today’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. The No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 will start the race on pole position. 

Jarvis reeled off a 1:32.337 lap to best the No. 02 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R. driver,Alex Lynn.

Ricky Taylor’s 1:32.735 lap was enough for third fastest in DPi.

Racing Team Nederland set the pace in the LMP2 class with Dylan Murry behind the wheel. The American driver managed a 1:34.551 lap. 

The No. 81 Dragon Speed LMP2 entry stopped on track at the end of the session after finishing fourth in class. 

Matt Bell led the way in the LMP3 class in the No. 7 Forty 7 Motorsports Duqueine D08 Nissan, meanwhile.

In GTD Pro, it was the No. 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 of Daniel Serra who came out quickest with his 1:46.225 lap.

The No. 66 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 and No. 99 Hardpoint Porsche 911 GT3 R GTD class cars both made appearances in the session after the two cars were involved in a crash in Practice 2 yesterday morning. 

Sportscar365 understands that the Gradient crew completed all necessary car repairs by 10 p.m. to prepare the car for tech inspection this morning.

The Acura GT3 car finished the session quickest in GTD, with Mario Farnbacher behind the wheel. However, after setting his quick lap, Farnbacher pulled into the pits with an apparent mechanical issue.

The Hardpoint Porsche driven by Katherine Legge came home 12th in class during warmup. 

The race will go green at 10:40 a.m. ET, with live coverage available on Peacock, and IMSA.tv for international viewers. USA Network coverage will begin at 2 p.m. ET.
