Alex Lynn led a Chip Ganassi Racing 1-2 in the second IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship practice session of the day at Road America.

Lynn reeled off a best time of 1:49.321 to outpace the No. 01 CGR Cadillac DPi-V.R of Sebastien Bourdais by 0.253 seconds in the 1 hour and 45-minute scheduled session.

Filipe Albuquerque was third quickest in the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05, meanwhile.

LMP2 was led by the No. 18 Era Motorsport Oreca 07 Gibson of Ryan Dalziel, while Andretti Autosport topped LMP3 with its Ligier JS P320 Nissan with Gabby Chaves.

Lexus swept the GTD ranks with its two Vasser Sullivan entries taking the quickest times in GTD Pro and GTD.

Jack Hawksworth recorded a 2:05.968 lap time in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 to pace GTD Pro, just 0.007 seconds ahead of teammate Frankie Montecalvo in the sister No. 12 entry.

The session was extended by 15 minutes due to a lengthy red flag for part of the Turn 1 curbing breaking apart, which required track repairs.

Qualifying is next up and set to get underway at 11 a.m. CT (12 p.m. ET).
