Scuderia Corsa has confirmed an ambitious program for its 2016 season, with efforts set for both the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GT Le Mans and GT Daytona class.

Alessandro Balzan makes a full-time return to Scuderia Corsa, and will join the previously announced Christina Nielsen in the No. 63 Ferrari 488 GT3 in GTD.

Jeff Segal and Robert Renauer round out the lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Meanwhile the team has also announced a GT Le Mans program for the four Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup rounds, with Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alexandre Premat and Daniel Serra in the team’s No. 68 Ferrari 488 GTE.

Beyond the driver announcements, Scuderia Corsa has also made a key hire to its managerial staff, with Eric Bachelart joining the team as managing director.

He joins the group that also features technical director Roberto Amorosi and sporting director Stefan Johansson.

“When we started Scuderia Corsa, we had a plan to create a platform where we could take a driver from starting out in a Ferrari Challenge and bring them to all the way to the GT Le Mans class, which is what we are set to accomplish in 2016,” said Giacomo Mattioli, team owner of Scuderia Corsa.

“We are very excited to begin this new chapter in GT Le Mans and continue the growth of our team. Our programs in Ferrari Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge and IMSA are very strong and work in concert to strengthen each other, and we look forward to a year full of success with our partner Ferrari.”

Aforementioned other programs for the team in 2016 include Martin Fuentes returning to Pirelli World Challenge in the No. 07 HUBLOT/Scuderia Corsa Ferrari and Danny Baker, Darren Enenstein, and Alistair Garnett driving separate Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Challenge EVOs in Ferrari Challenge North America.
