Harry Tincknell led the way in warmup for today’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
The No. 55 Mazda RT24-P, fresh from a post-qualifying engine change, led the way in the 20-minute session thanks to Tincknell’s 1:31.670 lap time.
It was 0.018 seconds faster than the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 of Dane Cameron with the pole-sitting No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura DPi third on the time sheets.
Mikkel Jensen led LMP2 in the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson while the No. 2 United Autosports Ligier JS P320 Nissan of Niklas Kruetten was quckest in LMP3.
The No. 24 Team RLL BMW M8 GTE of Jessse Krohn and Tim Zimmermann in the No. 19 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini topped the GT Le Mans and GT Daytona categories.
No major incidents were reported.
The six-hour race takes the green flag at 10:40 a.m. ET.
