Alliance Racing has added Colin Mullan and Jackson Lee to its lineup for this weekend’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America round at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Both drivers will be making their first starts with the Indiana-based squad this weekend as part of a two-car effort, with full-season drivers Andre Lagartixa and Will Edwards teaming up aboard the second car.
Mullan and Lee come from different racing backgrounds, with the former having already won races in sports car competition after moving into cars at a young age.
In 2018, he became the youngest race winner in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge by taking a class win in the now-defunct ST class aboard a Mini JCW and subsequently competed in TCR with L.A. Honda World.
Furthermore, he had success in GT4 competition by winning the GT4 America SprintX title with Andretti Autosport in 2020 and raced LMP3 machinery in the IMSA Prototype Challenge.
Lee, on the other hand, comes from a single seater background and has competed in the likes of USF Pro 2000.
“Great to be racing so close to home and flying some new colors and new partners this weekend,” explained Alliance Racing boss Toney Edwards.
“We are excited to have St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital join us this weekend and hope that we can represent them well and close the weekend on the top step of the podium.
“I think we have a strong lineup, and we are looking forward to the weekend.”
