***Former junior open-wheel standout and 2014 Lamborghini World Final champion Edoardo Piscopo, a 27-year-old Italian, returns to North America with O’Gara Motorsport for several upcoming rounds, in the No. 69 O’Gara Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2. Matt Halliday had been in the car at Mazda Raceway.

***O’Gara team principal Tom O’Gara moves from the team’s No. 69 car to the No. 14 car this weekend, which he will share with Brian Wong.

***STR driver and Round 2 winner Cedric Sbirrazzuoli only barely made it to Watkins Glen in time for Friday’s sessions, following a taxi strike in Europe that delayed his arrival after testing for the Spa 24 Hours earlier this week.

***On another O’Gara-related note, Round 1 winner Richard Antinucci returns to a track where he has a past win in Indy Lights in 2008, and made his IndyCar debut in 2009. Antinucci looks to add to his first and second place finishes at Mazda Raceway in the No. 50 Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2.

***Another driver making his track return is Prestige Performance’s Enrique Bernoldi, who will is back at Watkins Glen for the first time since an IndyCar race in 2008. He has teammate Kevin Conway’s past track experience, in both Lamborghini ST and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, to utilize for learning.

***Andy Lally makes his first starts in the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 after running the season finale last year at Road Atlanta in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, and got off to a good start with a win in Friday’s Round 3.

***Peter Argetsinger, who returns to both the series and his home track this weekend, will have a different car and teammate than originally slated. He had been set for the No. 00 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, but will instead be in the No. 76 Lamborghini Gallardo co-driving with fellow local driver Ken D’Arcy, still with Musante-Courtney Racing.

***Mitchum Motorsports has added Todd Snyder to its lineup, although not the driver of the same name who enjoyed Barber Dodge race success in the 1990s and has since moved into a successful coaching and officiating role. Mitchum’s Todd Snyder is the 2013 Spring Mountain Radical Race series Champion, had some karting and Russell Racing program starts, and is a protege of Jeff Bucknum.

***Aaron Povoledo has been moved back to the No. 77 Musante-Courtney Racing Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 he’ll share with Joe Courtney, same as they were at Mazda Raceway, after being originally listed in the team’s No. 3 entry with Ross Chouest.

***Corey Lewis, Dylan Murcott and Ken D’Arcy will be racing in the Lamborghini ST races and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge event this weekend at Watkins Glen. Angel Benitez Jr. is also set to race in multiple events, between Lamborghini ST and Porsche GT3 Cup USA.

***Pablo Perez Companc’s No. 56 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo and Thomas Pichler’s No. 63 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo have been withdrawn. It leaves the field at 21 cars for this weekend’s Rounds 3 and 4.
