***This weekend’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America round at Watkins Glen International sees another record-breaking entry of 36 cars, eclipsing the the previous record of 31 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 entries from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and NOLA Motorsports Park.

***Click Here for the official Spotter Guide from Andy Blackmore, featuring the full lineup of cars for Rounds 5 and 6 of the season.

***Among the additions include a four-car effort from NTE Sport. The team’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship driver pairing of Jaden Conwright and Don Yount are in the Pro-Am class with Jon Miller and Lance Bergstein in one of two Am category entries alongside the returning Jeff Courtney. Fred Roberts, meanwhile, is competing in the LB Cup class.

***Team owner Paul Mata said: “We’re really firing things up this weekend at Watkins Glen. I’m really proud of the team coming together to expand our Super Trofeo effort at this scale. With some of our drivers having Watkins Glen as a home track and some having never driven the car, we have a wide range of goals between the four cars and I’m confident in what we’ll accomplish together.”

***Flying Lizard Motorsports is back to its full three-car lineup this weekend, with the Pro-Am class No. 11 entry of Brett Jacobson and Joel Miller returning to action after missing the last round at NOLA Motorsports Park.

***The Lizards previously took advantage of a private test day at The Glen earlier this month to prepare for the event.

***O’Gara Motorsport/Change Racing/USRT was also among the teams to test, with the majority of its driver lineup getting track time at the 3.4-mile circuit prior to this weekend.

***Pirelli’s P Zero DHC tire compound makes its Super Trofeo North America debut this weekend.

***Kyle Marcelli and Danny Formal, who share the No. 1 Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini, hold just a two-point lead in the Pro class title race over Edoardo Piscopo and Patrick Kujala in the No. 50 O’Gara Motorsport/Change Racing/US RaceTronics entry entering the event.

***The Pro-Am class sees WTR’s Ashton Harrison and Tom Long atop the standings, four points ahead of Bryson Lew and John Castro Dubets, with the No. 48 Precision Performance Motorsports pairing of David Staab and Nikko Reger atop the Am class standings and Slade Stewart, of Flying Lizard Motorsports, leading the way in LB Cup.

***Formal will be pulling double duty this weekend in making his WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut as part of Muehlner Motorsports’ Duqueine D08 Nissan lineup in LMP3. His WTR co-driver Marcelli has also received a late call-up to drive AWA’s Duqueine as well.

***Other Super Trofeo drivers contesting Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen include NTE Sport’s Conwright and Yount, at the wheel of the team’s GTD class Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo and Miller, who drives for NTE in Super Trofeo but will be with Crucial Motorsports in the WeatherTech Championship round.

***Qualifying is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET today followed by Race 1 at 2:25 p.m. which will be carried live on Peacock and IMSA TV featuring the commentary team of Brian Till and Jeremy Shaw. A weekend recap will air on USA Network on July 3 at 12 p.m. ET.
