Wayne Taylor Racing and Prestige Performance Racing announced their driver line up for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season.
Four cars will compete in the six-event season, which kicks off at Barber Motorsports Park in April and concludes at the Lamborghini World Final weekend at Jerez in late October.
Andrea Amici and Sandy Mitchell will co-pilot the No. 1 Prestige Performance WTR Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo in Pro.
WTR’s No. 43 entry in the LB Cup will see the female pairing of Stephanie Cemo and Ashton Harrison while Cameron Cassels will return in the No. 33 car to race as a single driver in the Am class championship.
In the Pro-Am class, William Hubbell will once again commandeer the No. 69 Lamborghini with new teammate Eric Curran, who will run as many race events that do not conflict with his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship commitments.
“Wayne Taylor Racing is proud of our North American Super Trofeo Series driver line-up,” said WTR general manager Travis Houge.
“We have high expectations of them and our team and are excited to see them take to the track in early April. If our test this week was any indication, they are focused and ready to go for the win. We are looking forward to another great season.”
Since its inception in 2015, the Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing effort has clinched seven North American pro driver, team and dealer championships as well as has been crowned the overall 2017 Lamborghini Champions at the World Finals in Imola, Italy.
In 2018, the team finished the season in the top-three in the Pro, Am and Pro-Am classes, with Prestige Performance Paramus finishing third overall in the 2018 Dealer Championship chase.
“The partnership and legacy that Prestige Performance and Wayne Taylor Racing have built in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Series is second to none,” said Chris Turner, President, Prestige Performance Racing.
“We set out to build a winning platform that would both attract and inspire professional and amateur drivers as well as customers from around the world. We have done it successfully season after season.”
